14-7-14 Organic Based Greens Grade

14-7-14 is a micro-sized (90 SGN) homogenous fertilizer that contains slow-release nitrogen.

A premium-grade fertilizer designed for use on closely mowed turf grass such as golf course greens and tees. Its small particle size and homogenous composition result in even distribution of all nutrients. A conventional 2:1:2 N-P-K ratio to be used throughout the growing season. Ideal as a baseline product for foliar/liquid programs. Commonly used as a tee fertilizer to grow existing grass plus assist in germination/rooting of overseeded areas. Contains 70% controlled release nitrogen from methylene urea(s). Controlled release nitrogen (CRN) minimizes surge growth and prolongs green-up response. CRN also reduces the incidence of nitrogen loss to the atmosphere via volatilization and nitrate leaching to groundwater. Contains secondary magnesium (Mg) and iron (Fe) ingredients which play a key role in chlorophyll production. Organic matter at 20% of weight helps maintain beneficial bacteria/fungi populations.
