SKU: TL0712855330-3-12 "Purkote-N" is a standard-sized (240 SGN) blended fertilizer with slow release nitrogen. This premium-grade fertilizer is designed for use on golf courses fairways/roughs, sports fields and residential lawns. Typically used in the summer months and into the fall. It is not suitable for cool, wet conditions but can be used as a dormant winter feed. Contains 75% controlled release nitrogen (CRN) from polymer-coated urea (PCU). CRN minimizes surge growth and prolongs green-up response for up to 12 weeks. CRN also reduces the incidence of nitrogen loss to the atmosphere via volatilization and nitrate leaching into groundwater. PCU releases based on temperature and is nominally affected by moisture and microbial activity. Purkote CRN produces a steady release of nitrogen over 100-120 days. Contains iron to further enhance colour. Due to its highly controlled release content, 30-3-12 can be applied at 1.5 - 2.0 lbs nitrogen / 1,000 sq. ft. The result is a steady release for up to 4 months.
