The BC Premises Identification Program, launched by the Ministry of Agriculture, is essential for enhancing the traceability of livestock and poultry across our beautiful province. This crucial information becomes invaluable during emergencies, such as natural disasters and disease outbreaks, ensuring swift and efficient responses.

Participating in the Premises ID Program empowers you to:

Who Needs to Register?
All premises housing livestock or poultry must register with the Premises ID Program. This includes:
- Animal Owners: If you own any livestock or poultry, you must register for a premises ID account.
- Comingling Site Operators: Individuals managing sites where animals from multiple owners are kept must also register.

Caregivers: If you care for animals that reside on another person’s property (e.g., leased land), you must register for that location as well.
How to Register?
Register Online: Visit www.gov.bc.ca/premisesidprogram and follow the online registration link for a quick and easy process.
Or
Fill Out a Paper Form: Download the form from their website or request a copy to be mailed or emailed to you. Once completed, you can return it via mail, email, or fax to the Premises ID Program.
