Flint® Extra is a broad-spectrum systemic fungicide with long-lasting control and preventative protection against important diseases in grapes, pome fruit and stone fruits. It works by inhibiting spore germination and mycelial growth, and provides extended preventive protection by protecting the leaf surface, penetrating plant tissue and redistributing through vapour action.

Use

For the management of:

  • Apple scab
  • Black rot
  • Cedar apple rust
  • Fly speck
  • Leaf spot
  • Powdery mildew
  • Sooty blotch

Registered for use on: Grapes (except Concord variety), pome fruits including apple, crabapple, mayhaw, pear, Asian pear and quince, stone fruits such as apricot, nectarine, peach, plum, plumcot and prune, sweet and tart cherries, asparagus, sugar beet, celery and Chinese celery, a broad group of root vegetables (including beet, burdock, carrot, celeriac, chervil, chicory, ginseng, horseradish, parsley, parsnip, rutabaga, salsify, black salsify, Spanish salsify, skirret and turnip), radishes, strawberries, peanuts, and hazelnuts.

For the management of:

  • On grapes, it controls powdery mildew and black rot.

  • On sweet and tart cherries, it controls powdery mildew and leaf spot.

  • On asparagus, it controls purple spot and rust.

  • On pome fruits (apple, crabapple, mayhaw, pear, Asian pear and quince), it controls scab, sooty blotch, fly speck, powdery mildew, and cedar apple rust.

  • On sugar beet, it controls powdery mildew.

  • On stone fruits (apricot, nectarine, peach, plum, plumcot, prune), it suppresses powdery mildew and controls shothole.

  • On celery and Chinese celery, it controls early blight (Cercospora) and late blight (Septoria).

  • On the group of root vegetables, it controls leaf blight and leaf spot of carrot, controls early blight and late blight of celeriac, and on radish it controls Alternaria leaf spot.

  • On strawberry, it controls powdery mildew.

  • On hazelnuts, it controls eastern filbert blight.
