NoFly WP

SKU: TL01210192
Size

NoFly is a microbial insecticide containing Paecilomyces fumosoroseus strain FE 9901, developed to suppress whiteflies and thrips in greenhouse ornamental production.

Mode of action
After application, the fungal spores land on the target insect and adhere to the cuticle. The spores germinate quickly, sending a germ tube through the insect’s outer layer. Inside the body cavity, the fungus multiplies and spreads as hyphal bodies, damaging internal tissues and causing systemic failure. Affected insects stop feeding within roughly a day and typically die within three to seven days.

Key advantages
NoFly provides targeted pest control while remaining safe for most beneficial organisms. It works alongside common biocontrol agents such as Encarsia formosa and Eretmocerus eremicus. The product delivers rapid activity, affects pests across all life stages, and fits well into integrated pest management programs thanks to its compatibility with many crop protection products. Because the mode of action is biological, resistance development is not a concern, making NoFly a strong rotational option.
