Problad® is a next-generation biofungicide powered by BLAD, a naturally derived protein fragment from the seed storage protein β-conglutin in Lupinus albus (sweet white lupin). During seed germination, this protein is broken down and BLAD forms as a biologically active peptide with strong antifungal properties.

Problad® delivers broad-spectrum disease control through a unique multi-site mode of action. BLAD binds to key structural components in fungal cells, disrupting the cell wall and membrane while interfering with essential metabolic processes. This multi-target activity reduces the risk of resistance development and provides effective control across multiple stages of the fungal lifecycle.

Designed for preventive use, Problad® offers consistent performance against major diseases such as powdery mildew, botrytis, monilia, and rice blast in a wide range of crops including fruits, vegetables, and vines.

As a plant-derived, low-risk solution, Problad® supports sustainable crop production. It is suitable for integrated pest management (IPM) and organic programs, with a favorable environmental profile, no residue concerns, and minimal restrictions on re-entry or pre-harvest intervals.

Use

Registered for: Blueberries (lowbush and highbush); grapes; strawberry; fruiting vegetables including eggplant, ground cherry, pepino, peppers, tomatillo and tomato (field and greenhouse); stone fruit including apricot, cherry, nectarine, peach, plum and prune; almond; caneberries.

For the management of: Powdery mildew; grey mold; brown rot blossom blight.
